This week's Wow Wednesday highlights our Library. In library, Kindergarten and First grade students read their second Prairie Bud book called Crossings: Extraordinary Structures for Extraordinary Animals by Katy S. Duffield. They learned that engineers and biologists worked together to create safe animal crossings when animals' natural habitats had roads passing through. Their challenge was to create a bridge. The bridge needed to allow a way for animals to cross safely using overpasses or underpasses. They tested their bridges using animals and cars.

Students in EC5 had lots of fun writing with shaving cream!
